Xi Chen is a professor of English Language and Literature at the School of Foreign Languages of Hunan University, China. She is a member of the International Association for Ethical Literary Criticism and of the Chinese/American Association for Poetry and Poetics. Her academic interests include contemporary British and American literature, comparative literature, and ethical literary criticism. She has published The Flǎneur's Ethics: A Study of Philip Larkin's Poetry (2017).
