Lianggong Luo, Ph.D. in Literature, is Professor of English at Central China Normal University, Wuhan, China. Concurrently he is chief editor of Foreign Language and Literature Research, associate editor-in-chief of Foreign Literature Studies, and member of the Editorial Board of other academic journals in China and abroad. He serves as vice president of the Commission for Poetry Research of the China Association for Comparative Studies of English and Chinese, executive director of the Chinese/American Association for Poetry and Poetics (CAAP), and standing director of China Association for the Study of American Literature. His academic research is focused mainly on English poetry, African American literature, comparative literature, and literary translation study. He has published over 80 articles and over 20 books in these fields.
